Boston Bed And Breakfasts
The city of Boston has many tourist attractions. It is of interest to the history buff and there is a vibrant cultural life. There are several Boston Bed and Breakfasts in the heart of the city, housed in elegant buildings and with first class amenities and service. The Harborside Inn is on State Street in the fashionable Waterfront district and is conveniently located for Quincy Market's shops, pubs and restaurants and for browsing round the sailing ships in Boston Harbor. It is also close to the New England Aquarium, Paul Revere's House and Rose Kennedy Park. The renovated historic building has 15 unique guest rooms, some with exposed brick walls. There is Cable TV, DVD and Stereo player, large closets and showers or bath tubs with complimentary toiletries. The lobby has a 24-hour coffee service and guests can use the dry cleaning and laundry service. The Charles Street Inn in Beacon Hill is a luxury Boston Bed and Breakfast with nine guest rooms, each one with a working 1860 marble fireplace, Turkish carpet and antique furniture. Guests have a private whirlpool bathtub, Cable TV and free Wi Fi access. Breakfast is served to each guest in the guest room. There is also an In Room Massage service. Special packages include the Dinner with Room Package. Dinner is 3-course with wine. A Victorian style, 1865 built building on Elm Street in Charlestown is the superb setting for the Bunker Hill B & B. This Boston Bed and Breakfast is a mere ten minutes from the airport and very close to the Downtown Crossing shopping district and Fanueil Hall Marketplace. Antiques from across the globe furnish the guest rooms but there is every modern convenience too and guests have access to computers and fax machines, making it ideal for business travelers. Parents can relax in the Jacuzzi whilst children play with the toys and games provided. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided and there are laundry facilities. There is no charge for beverages and snacks. Weather permitting; guests can dine on the patio or deck. The Taylor House Bed and Breakfast on Burroughs Street in Jamaica Plain is in another Victorian building (built around 1853) and has 16 guest rooms. The architecture is part Italian and partly Greek, as are many old houses in this area. This is a very cozy Boston Bed and Breakfast with just three guest rooms. Guests have private baths and televisions with VCR. The continental style breakfast comprises of fresh bread and pastries, cereals, fruit and yogurt. The Gryphon House on Bay State Road is an attractive brownstone near Kenmore Square. There are eight suites, all with queen size beds, TV, CD player, gas log fireplace, and a wet bar with fridge. High-speed internet connection is available. There is an extended continental breakfast.
