Basically, Christian speed dating is just like any other kind of speed dating. The main difference is that everyone there is Christian. If you are someone who religion is very important to, this is crucial. I could've gone to a normal speed dating place, but I probably would have been confronted with a whole room full of nonbelievers. It would have been very hard to meet someone since only a few of the people there would have been Christian. By going on Christian speed dates, I knew that I had a lot more chance of meeting Mrs. right.

Although I was very excited when I found out about the Christian speed dating, my first attempt was kind of unsuccessful. I think I just got my hopes up too high, and so was bound to be disappointed when I got there. I met a few women there, but none seemed quite right. I went out a couple dates after that, but none of them worked out. I knew I had to give it another go.

This time, I went all out. I made sure that I was extremely presentable, cut my hair, shaved, and bought some beautiful new clothes. I know that you aren't supposed to judge people by appearances, but everyone does to some degree. I figure that my Christian speed dating would be a lot more successful if I looked the part. I have to admit, I'm pretty sure I turned some heads when I walked in there. A few of the women looked up and smiled at me, and I smiled back. From the moment I entered the room, I knew that this would be my opportunity to meet the woman of my dreams. As it turned out, I only met one woman there who I really liked, but she also like me. The very next day, we went on a date together and it went really well. Six months later, we were married.
